    • Collects, preserves and exhibits the history of the Australian Army in Western Australia. The museum also has the 10th Light Horse Regiment Collection in its keeping.

    • Collects, preserves and exhibits the history of the Australian Army in South Australia. A significant part of the collection is the "Grey Collection" - recognised as one of the most important collection of badges in Australia. The museum also houses the following collections: Royal South Australian Regiment Historical Collection, 3rd Forward General Hospital Collection, and 144th Signal Squadron Historical Collection.
