USMC Gunnery Sergeant uniform  

This visored USMC parade cap (cover) is NOT part of this uniform but is of the type that would have been worn with it.

It has the all "gold" Eagle Globe & Anchor badge of ORs, not the silver & gold type worn by Officers.

Above the left breast pocket, are Navy & Marine Corps air crew wings, rifle expert and pistol expert badges. There are 9 ribbons. They are : Bronze Star ( with "V" for Valor) Navy Commendation, Navy & Marine Achievement, Navy & Marine Combat Action, National Defense Service, Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation, South West Asia Service, Saudi Arabia's Kuwait Liberation, Kuwait's Liberation of Kuwait.
MARINE CORPS DRESS BLUE UNIFORM. 

The size of the coat is a 39 regular, the fabric is 100% wool, wears better than the other mixed blends.

 Made in 1981, by South Jersey Clothing Company. 

Features gold colored, anodized buttons and EGA (eagle, globe & anchor) collar insignia. 

The rank is Gunnery Sergeant, with gold chevrons, on a scarlet base. 

It has a white dress belt, thick canvas and a gold colored, anodized, NCO, belt buckle. 

The buckle has the eagle, globe & anchor, flanked by leaves. 

It has four hash marks (4 year service stripes) on the sleeve. 

(the shirt forms no part of this uniform. It is there to cover the mannequin).
