No More War: a
Soldiers Viewpoint |
|
Hey you! Yes, you with the
bumper sticker that says
|
|
NO MORE HIROSHIMAS
|
|
why not have one that says
|
|
NO MORE
PEARL HARBOURS
|
- This was copied from an
American site. I did so because I agree with the thought that only a
people who are willing to fight are likely not to have to.
- Those who
advocate appeasement, those who stand on the footpath and scream "No
more war" might better spend
their time telling the Kaisers, the Hitler's, the Pol Pot's, the
Mussolini's, the Tojo's, the Saddam's
"No more invasions".

- It is the soldier, not the reporter, that has given
us freedom of the press
- It is the soldier, not the poet, that has given us
freedom of speech
- It is the soldier, not the campus organiser, who
has given us the freedom to demonstrate
- It is the soldier, not the lawyer who has given us
the right to fair trial
- It is the soldier,
- who salutes the flag,
- who serves beneath the flag and
- whose coffin is draped by the flag
- that allows the protestor to burn the flag.
