Federation the British National Anthem, "God Save The Queen"
was adopted as the Australian National Anthem. |

Australian National Anthem
Before Advance Australia fair was partially re-written as our
anthem it contained references that now-days might be considered
politically incorrect. References to "Britannia Rules the
Waves", and "Gallant Cook from Albion came", and
"raised old England's flag". These are not in the
revised version that is our anthem.
