Lalum, Bougainville, 1945-06-12. Stretcher cases being loaded onto a jeep trailer at 19 field ambulance main dressing station, for transportation to the hospital ship Stradbroke. The patients, wounded during the Porton Plantation evacuation are being moved to enable doctors to give more attention to those that are dangerously ill. Identified personnel are:- Pte N C. Taylor, 19 Field Ambulance (1); Pte C. Mischke, 19 Field Ambulance (2); Pte l. N. Wilcox, 19 Field Ambulance (3); Pte r. Kelso, 19 Field Ambulance (4); Sgt J B Hanrahan, 19 Field Ambulance (5); Pte F L Stamp, 31/51 Infantry Battalion (6).

Toko, Bougainville, Solomon Islands. 1945-03-21. Natives pitch a roof during the construction of wards for the 11th Field Ambulance, Australian Army Medical Corps in preparation for battle casualties who will be evacuated by barge.
Waitavalo area, Wide Bay, New Britain. 1945-03-16. A jeep ambulance assisting to evacuate wounded personnel of the 14/32nd Infantry Battalion from the dressing station of the 6th Field Ambulance, Australian Army Medical Corps.
Ravenshoe, Qld. 1944-12-28. A jeep stretcher carrying attachment designed by Sergeant A K Sweetman, (attached Corps of Australian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers), 2/8 Field Ambulance.
