Women's Royal Australian Naval Service...WRANS

The WRANS from the depot at HMAS Leeuwin are joined on deck by crew members and a party of school children. Note the hats worn by the two Petty Officers on the left have embroidered hat badges. In 1944 cap tallies replaced the badges. (Donor D. Needham)
