ARUNTA remained in Operational Reserve
at Sydney from 1957 to 1968. She was sold for scrap to the China Steel
Corporation of Taipei, Formosa, on 1 November 1968.
On 13 February 1969 ARUNTA sank 65
miles off the New South Wales coast while under tow to Formosa by the
Japanese tug TOKYO MARU. |
