Throughout Queensland there are scores, possibly hundreds of War Memorials. They are large, small, artistic, functional, bizarre, modern, old fashioned and every other style imaginable. In one case, in Brisbane, a whole hospital is dedicated as a War Memorial. (The St Andrews War Memorial Hospital). In all cases they represent the community spirit of thanks and respect for The ANZAC's, of ALL wars. They all say "LEST WE FORGET".
Space does not allow a full disclosure of the memorials in Queensland here. For a fuller appreciation I suggest you visit "War Memorials in Australia" or "War Memorials in Queensland"
