RVN Gallantry Cross Unit Citation w/Palm

Unit Citation of the same award. 

Instituted: 1953
Criteria: Awarded for contributions to the formation and organization of the Armed Forces and the training of troops and technical cadres of the various branches.
Notes: Intended for non-combat achievements. 1st Class medal was for officers. 2nd Class medal was for NCOs and enlisted men.
Instituted: 1950
Criteria: Awarded for valour and heroic conduct while fighting the enemy.
Notes: Palm device is citation for unit awards & for medal award at Army or higher level.

Republic of Vietnam (RVN) Wound Medal Instituted: 1953
Criteria: For military personnel who had been wounded in action and to government officials wounded in the line of duty by the enemy or rebels.
Instituted: 1964 Criteria: Awarded for extreme bravery in risking life to rescue other people in distress.
Notes: This was for civilians as well as military personnel.  
Republic of Vietnam (RVN) Staff Service Medal - First Class (1/C Officers) Instituted: 1964
Criteria: Awarded for staff service to the Armed Forces evidencing outstanding initiative and devotion to duty.
  
Wound Medal Life Saving Medal Staff Service Medal - 1st Class
Republic of Vietnam (RVN) Staff Service Medal - Second Class (2/C Enlisted Man) Instituted: 1964
Criteria: Awarded for staff service to the Armed Forces evidencing outstanding initiative and devotion to duty.
 
Republic of Vietnam (RVN) Technical Service Medal - First Class (1/C Officer) Instituted: 1964
Criteria: Awarded to military servicemen and civilians working as military technicians who have shown outstanding professional capacity.
 
Republic of Vietnam (RVN) Technical Service Medal - Second Class (2/C Enlisted Man) Instituted: 1964
Criteria: Awarded to military servicemen and civilians working as military technicians who have shown outstanding professional capacity, initiative, and devotion to duty. 
Staff Service Medal - 2nd Class Technical Service Medal - 1st Class  Technical Service Medal - 2nd Class 
Republic of Vietnam (RVN) Training Service Medal - First Class (1/C Officer) Instituted: 1964
Criteria: Awarded to instructors and cadres at military schools and training centers and civilians and foreigners who contribute significantly to training.
Notes: First Class medal is awarded to officers.
Republic of Vietnam (RVN) Training Service Medal - Second Class (2/C Enlisted Man) Instituted: 1964
Criteria: Awarded to instructors and cadres at military schools and training centers and civilians and foreigners who contribute significantly to training.
