  • This map shows who fought on which side in WW1 and who stayed neutral.
    • Note that Australia, Canada, Cape Colony (Sth Africa) India and New Zealand are represented by Britain (as part of the Empire) as was the custom of the time
    • The USA entered the war in mid 1917
France and Flanders (Belgium). This map gives a good overall view of the main points of battle.

This is a wonderfully detailed map of France and Belgium with the front line (1917) marked with a starry line.  Really good for the serious historian.  

But be warned; it is a slower load than most because of its size. About 3 minutes at 28.8.
