Wewak area, New Guinea, 1945-06-11. During the activities of 2/8 Infantry Battalion in the Wewak area, one of the Japanese killed was dressed in Australian jungle green uniform and using an Australian rifle. Shown is Pte W.R. Bassula pulling him out of a bush.
