Australian Joint Services Crest
  • The heraldry of the Joint Services Crest is;
    • The Federation Star surmounts all

      • It has 7 points, 1 for each of the 6 States and 1 to represent all the Territories

    • The Anchor represents the Royal Australian Navy

      • illustrated in dark blue, the colour of that Service

    • Crossed swords represent the Australian Army 

      • the red of the handles is the colour of that Service

    • RAAF is represented by their wedge tailed eagle 

      • illustrated in their colour, light blue,

    • All on a Boomerang base to represent being uniquely Australian.
